How this estimate works
Spotify and other platforms do not pay a fixed rate per play. They pool the revenue they earn in a market and split it by each track's share of total streams, so the effective per-stream rate moves every month. This tool applies reported per-stream ranges, lower for India, higher for international markets, adjusts for the platform, and subtracts your distributor's cut. It is an estimate, so treat the range as a guide and your distributor's dashboard as the truth.
