India Indie Music Radar

The label system
wasn't built
for most artists.

Tens of thousands of working musicians were never in the consideration set. Not rejected. Just not the audience the system was designed to serve. This is for those artists.

It all comes down to one thing: artist development. Everything around the music, the economics, the identity, the network, the way you release. The free tools and the programme are two depths of the same idea.

28K+
artists releasing music in India on Spotify, almost none with professional support
₹35K
to record, mix, master and release one song professionally
70%+
of Indian streams go to local artists. The audience is there.

Siby John & Karishma Changroth

Two of us built this, Siby John and Karishma Changroth, from the two sides of the gap most independent artists fall into: the business they were never taught, and the identity they have not yet crystallised. The tools here are free and always will be.

Siby spent thirteen years inside the platforms that decide which music gets seen. Between 2022 and 2025, as Marketing Manager at YouTube India, he ran creator and music programmes with 400+ artists, labels, and production houses, including Anuv Jain, Jasleen Royal, and Jassie Gill. He is now Senior Creator Manager at LinkedIn. That work gave him a direct view of how the system actually surfaces music versus how artists assume it works. The gap was large. The artists genuinely building something had almost no reliable information about how the business functioned.

Karishma Changroth is Founding Member at Talented, Bangalore's independent creative agency. She brings brand identity, social strategy, and creative positioning: the half of the gap that is not about economics but about how an artist is perceived, packaged, and remembered. Together, the two sides cover what blocks most independent artists, the business logic and the creative identity.

When the tools are not enough.

Siby and Karishma work directly with a small number of artists at a time. Start with one month: share where you are, and you walk away with a document that names exactly what is between you and the next level. Everything you build, you keep.
